Family Violence Legal Service

Loddon Campaspe CLC offers free legal advice and support to people experiencing family violence when they appear at Bendigo, Maryborough, Echuca, Castlemaine and Kyneton magistrates’ courts.



To make an appointment to talk to one of our solicitors, please call (03) 5445 0909 or 1800 450 909 (if calling from outside Bendigo). You do not need a referral to access our services.


Family Violence Service at the Courts

Bendigo Magistrates’ Court – every Tuesday
Echuca Magistrates’ Court – every Tuesday
Kyneton Magistrates’ Court – alternate Mondays
Maryborough Magistrates’ Court – alternate Thursdays (sitting in Castlemaine while court redevelopment is underway, from the end of January 2019 to the start of May 2019)

Ask for the service at the Court Reception (or the Court Network desk in Bendigo).

Please note: Respondents to Intervention Order applications generally receive assistance from the Victoria Legal Aid funded Duty Lawyer Service.
