Family Violence Legal Service

Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Centre offers free legal advice and support to people experiencing family violence when they appear at Bendigo, Maryborough, Echuca, Castlemaine and Kyneton Magistrates’ Courts.


To make an appointment to talk to one of our Family Violence lawyers, please call (03) 5445 0909 or 1800 450 909 (if calling from outside Bendigo). You do not need a referral to access our services.

Family Violence Court Assistance

We help people who are applying for Family Violence Intervention Orders at courts in Bendigo, Echuca, Kyneton, Maryborough and Castlemaine.

Ask for our service at the Registry Office (or the Court Network desk in Bendigo).

Bendigo Magistrates’ Court – every Tuesday
Echuca Magistrates’ Court – every Tuesday
Kyneton Magistrates’ Court – alternate Mondays
Maryborough Magistrates’ Court – alternate Thursdays
Castlemaine Magistrates’ Court – on request

Please note: Respondents to Family Violence Intervention Order applications generally receive assistance from the Victoria Legal Aid funded Duty Lawyer Service.
