Community Development Project Worker – Tipping the Scales

Are you a dynamic professional with strong stakeholder engagement and project coordination skills and a passion for increasing access to justice for people affected by family violence?

Tipping the Scales (TTS) is a three-year, place-based Community Justice Project taking place in Victoria’s Central Goldfields Shire, centred in Maryborough. The Project aims to improve service coordination and increase access to justice for people affected by family violence in the region.

The Community Development Project Worker will work alongside and in collaboration with a designated project lawyer and local partners to deliver the TTS Project, with responsibility for driving stakeholder and community engagement, project coordination and monitoring and evaluation activities.

The successful applicant will be a collaborative individual with strong communication and coordination skills and an understanding of community development principles and approaches. They will work under a social determinants and community development framework to deliver activities that address disadvantage and improve community justice and well-being outcomes through meaningful community engagement.
