Generalist Lawyer (full time, fixed term, maternity leave position – 12 months)

ARC Justice has an employment opportunity for a full-time generalist lawyer to work within our Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Centre program in Bendigo.

ARC Justice is a leading and innovative advocacy and rights organisation that delivers client focused services that empower disadvantaged and vulnerable people in rural and regional Victoria. We deliver a range of legal assistance services (casework, education and policy) across North and Central Victoria, including the Goulburn Valley. We elevate justice as an issue in public discourse and advocate for systemic change that upholds human rights. As well as an attractive salary, 3 days ex gratia between Christmas and New Year’s Day, salary packaging, and accommodation and meal/entertainment packaging is also available. Relocation assistance is also on offer for the right candidate.

In addition to possessing the qualifications necessary for practicing law in Victoria, applicants must have a desire to pursue a career in public interest and community law and have an unrestricted driver’s license.

Just 1¾ hours from Melbourne by freeway and regularly serviced by train via Kyneton and Castlemaine, Loddon Campaspe CLC is based in one of regional Victoria’s most desirable localities, featuring excellent schools, health facilities and cultural experiences.
