Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Centre has three exciting employment opportunities for the right candidates.

Loddon Campaspe CLC is a program of ARC Justice. ARC Justice is a leading and innovative advocacy and human rights organisation. We deliver client-focused services to empower disadvantaged and vulnerable people in rural and regional Victoria. GENERALIST LAWYER
Full time – 12 months to February 2018

As well as an attractive salary, 3 days ex gratia leave between Christmas and New Year’s Day, salary packaging and access to accommodation and meals/entertainment packaging is also available. Relocation assistance is also on offer for the right candidate.

In addition to possessing the qualifications necessary to practice law in Victoria, applicants must have a desire to pursue a career in public interest and community law and have an unrestricted driver’s license.

PARALEGAL

PROJECT AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WORKER

Part-Time (0.8 EFT) until January 2020

Tipping the Scales – a project funded by the Victorian Legal Services Board

The incumbent will work alongside the project lawyer in collaboration with the community to deliver the ‘Tipping the Scales’ project. Guided by community development principles, they will work with community and project partners to develop, co-ordinate, support and deliver the project aims, deliverables and common agenda. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the project lawyer to develop and lead this three-year project, including project design, management, collaboration, co-ordination, community legal education, policy work and evaluation.

The position will be based in Maryborough approximately 3 days per week and the Loddon Campaspe CLC office (54 Mitchell St, Bendigo) 1 day per week.
