It is often a challenge for community agencies, let alone members of the public, to figure out which is the most appropriate service to contact for assistance.
Understanding what services are available to address conflict or disputes can be tricky. Sometimes problems have no apparent solution and existing systems and services are inadequate.
To try and bridge the gaps in understanding, Loddon Campaspe CLC is co-presenting a public forum with other local legal, advocacy and dispute resolution services to provide guidance for people trying to navigate the system.
This forum will give people an opportunity to:
- Engage with others about the challenges of navigating legal, advocacy and dispute resolution support services
- Hear from ourselves, Victoria Legal Aid, the Dispute Settlement Centre of Victoria, Consumer Affairs Victoria and others about what we do
- Hear about recent developments within our services
- provide feedback about the challenges you face accessing the right service
Members of the public are welcome to attend but the forum is aimed particularly at community service organisations that assist clients with legal and advocacy issues.
