Loddon Campaspe CLC has been working with Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) to develop a new schools-based Community Legal Education project addressing sexting, cyberbullying and age of consent.
Many VLA regional offices have identified these topics as priority issues. A briefing about the project was recently given to VLA staff.
The briefing provided participants with an overview of the Community Legal Education tools and support available to them to help them plan, deliver and evaluate sessions on these topics in their region.
This project sprang from collaboration between Loddon Campaspe CLC and VLA’s Bendigo office. Loddon Campaspe CLC’s Charlotte Powell and Bendigo VLA’s Clare Wilkin showed participants how they have successfully worked with students on these topics.
